BOSU/Disc

A great way to both work on strengthening the core muscles that wrap around your waist and support your spine and improve your balance and coordination is with a new workout tool called a BOSU which stands for "both sides up." On one side it is a half of a balance ball on the other side it is a flat surface.

This is a great tool that allows you to complete a variety of different workouts. Inflatable discs or foam pads are another type of workout tool to exercise your nervous system and improve your balance and coordination. This is a great way to reduce your risk of injury as you age. Many age-related injuries are due to falls because of poor balance and coordination.

Patient Testimonial

Review By Our Satisfied Patient

  • "When I first came to see Dr. Pederson I was miserable. I could hardly work and sitting put me in severe pain. After just 30 days of treatment I have no more numbness and increased energy and motivation. I can only imagine how great I'll feel once my treatment is completed!"
